The last show we have booked for awhile will be on Thursday Feb. 11th with our friend Rauelsson. It’s a record release show at The Woods celebrating his new album La Siembra, la Espera, y la Cosecha out now on HUSH Records. Also, on Friday, Feb. 12th I’ll be playing down at WINESTOCK in Oregon City for a pre-St. Valentine’s Day evening of songs and sparkling wine.

I’m sorry to hear that this show is that last one that you’ve booked for a while. I still haven’t seen you perform, but I’ve been listening to your music for the last six years. I think you’re incredibly talented and one of the most under appreciated bands playing today. While you may be taking a break from playing for a while, I hope your creative energy will continue to comfort, cajole, and companion us for years to come.
Hey Joshua… just the last one for a bit… Not a walk off shot… Thanks for the nice words… We just need to catch our breath before the album comes out in May and then we’ll be playing a ton…. Thanks, Al
You just made my morning. A release date (more or less) and a renewed hope that you’ll come back to Chicago. At least, I hope “a ton” means outside of Portland and vicinity.
Please include Philadelphia in your future touring plans. I think the chapel at the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia would prove to be an excellent, memorable show. Look forward to the new album!
Absolutely CANT wait for tonight’s show. It’s going to be amazing! Al, Kristina has been listening to your stuff forever and this is her first show, she’s hoping she gets a chance to shake your hand tonight…
Rock on tonight, fellas!
hi alex…shannon from years ago! i’ve been doing some commercial stuff for Rhapsody, and look! they put my playlist up and you’re on it! http://letsgorhetoric.blogspot.com/2010/03/what.html
thought you’d get a kick out of it…
Well I’ve been listening since I fell in love with “to destruction” years ago, and I’ve been living in eugene for two years and still have yet to see you down here! A stop at sam bonds would be great! Not usually dolorean-esque music there, but I still think itd be a smash
Hey Al,
been a big fan since i discovered your last one… eagerly anticipating your next release. please play south-eastern michigan (detroit, ann arbor) or consider stopping by toronto.
love from ontario,
adam
Al, quick question – who is the lady contributing background vox on the “Violence in the Snowy Fields” track? Lovely voice, and reminds me of Amy Farris.
